Movers who already know the road

The same trucks and the same crew that run freight up Highway 16 five days a week also move households and offices along it. Local moves around Terrace, or the full haul between Prince George and Prince Rupert.

What we take on

From one room to the whole house

Most moving companies in the north are either a national outfit quoting from an office two provinces away, or a couple of people with a pickup. We sit in between: a proper crew, insured trucks with tailgates, and a driver who has run this highway in every kind of weather.

House and apartment moves

One bedroom through to a full house. The crew loads, secures, hauls and unloads — you do not have to find friends with a truck.

Long-distance along the corridor

Moving between Prince George, Vanderhoof, Burns Lake, Houston, Terrace or Prince Rupert. We already drive it daily, so it is a scheduled run rather than a special trip.

Office and commercial moves

Desks, files, shelving and equipment, moved after hours or over a weekend so the business is open again Monday.

Single items and partial loads

A fridge, a piano, a bedroom set. If you are not moving a whole house, you should not be paying for a whole truck.

Loading and unloading only

Rented your own truck or shipping container? Book the crew for the heavy part and drive it yourself.

Short-term storage

When the move-out and move-in dates do not line up, we can hold the load in Terrace until you are ready.

How a move runs

No surprises on the day

Four steps from the first phone call to the last box in the right room.

  1. 01

Tell us what you are moving

Number of bedrooms, anything oversized, and whether there are stairs or an elevator at either end. A walkthrough over the phone is usually enough.

  2. 02

    Get a written quote

A flat number based on the size of the move, the distance, and the crew required — not a meter running while you watch.

  3. 03

    Moving day

Furniture is blanket-wrapped and strapped, the truck is loaded to keep weight low and stable, and the tailgate does the lifting.

  4. 04

    Unloaded where you want it

Boxes go to the rooms they are labelled for and furniture is set down in place, not stacked in the entryway.

Where we move

Anywhere along Highway 16

We drive this corridor five days a week, so a move between these towns rides a route we already know rather than a one-off trip priced like an expedition.

Moving questions

Asked and answered

How far in advance should I book?

A week or two is comfortable, longer for month-end and through the summer. Short-notice moves are often possible — call and ask.

Do you supply boxes and packing materials?

We bring blankets, straps and dollies as standard. Boxes and packing supplies can be arranged, so mention it when you book.

Is my furniture covered if something is damaged?

We carry cargo coverage and operate as a WCB compliant, NSC certified carrier. For high-value or specialty items, tell us in advance so the right coverage is confirmed before moving day.

Can you move a piano, safe, or appliances?

Usually yes, with enough notice to bring the right crew and equipment. Describe the item and where it has to come out from and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.

Do you move between provinces?

Our regular lane is Highway 16 within northern BC. Longer moves are quoted case by case — call and we will tell you if it makes sense for us to do it.
